now see here's the thing. danny canonically is into some fairly heavy rock, and is from the early 2000s. danny has absolutely not just heard linkin park before, he has liked it. he might have even actively been a fan of theirs.

he doesn't really sing along at all actually, he just stands there awkwardly until a screaming segment comes up

at which point he lets loose a horrible, loud, ragged wail. it's not even on key. he's just yellin ]
