So...nice rabbit charm you have there. I noticed it earlier. Where'd you get it?

[ Axel actually has a fiery personality, so even though he wasn't doing much screaming, he looks kind of like he wants to pitch a fit.

But even so he will not take it out on Danny. He laughs a little, though. ]

I didn't expect you to stroll up to me and ask that. Before I answer, I wanna know why you're curiosity about that even with everything that's happened today.

[ he shrugs ]

I wanted to ask you about it once I noticed it. Whether I do it tonight, tomorrow, or some other time...it doesn't really make a difference, does it?

[ He's having trouble unwinding and it shows, he guesses.

Axel begins to take a walk making a 'come follow me gesture', or not. Up to Danny. ]

[ He did say he'd say afterwards. ]

How're you feeling after all of that? Everything went straight to hell for a moment there.

I mean, I wasn't in any danger myself, so...tensions were high but it's not like I was at risk. Mostly just annoyed I couldn't do anything about it without my power.

...so you're saying Rabbit gave you the charm?

[ To the arcade, where the gates of hell start to open even as we speak.

[ huffs a little ] I guess, if you want to.

But just so you know... [ pulls a little tiger charm out of his pocket! ] I've got one too. So I guess that makes two of us on two counts.

[ Distractions are going to be all the rage, but he spots the tiger charm coming out, which makes Axel brighten up a little.

More towards the arcade they go! ]

That really does make two of us on two counts. I can't say I was expecting that, but I'm guessing Tiger was a bud and handed you that.

Yup. When'd you get yours, anyway? Was it just this week?

[ aaaaand we enter the arcade! Danny just kind of looks around absently, not really sure what to do or where to go in here. never has a teen been this awkward inside an arcade before ]

week 4, post-trial

[ Well, Axel can't find Danny anywhere. So, out of genuine worry, he checks on him another way. ]

...To be honest, I only noticed two people who suggested it, so seeing as I'm still here, I'll live. No pun intended.

But, it was real rough going. So, panic's pretty natural.

Though even if people are reasonably upset about stuff, I really do think it could have turned out worse.

Never too late to go and indulge in what do they call it? 'Treating yourself' or something like that? Relaxation, eating whatever including chips or ice cream, checking out movies.

I know I'm gonna do most of that before tomorrow comes because believe me you know as well as I do things are going to get crazy all over again.

[ Heeeere's Axel, my friends.

The red head can be out and about, until he manages to find Danny over at the Arcade. He's giving him a little wave and a smile. He has dog ears atop his head for transformation effects, and he's holding a bag with him. ]

Yo, Danny.

Got a moment for a quick catching up?

[ Danny was just walking by with lil cat ears atop his head! he is trying to cover them with the hood of his hoodie, but the shape is still very much clear through them. ]

Uh, sure. What's up?

Nothing much, like I'd say, but that isn't exactly true either.

First of all, just checking in. And, second of all, I brought along a snack. Pretty good to have one when playing games, right?

[ Holding up a bag. ]

Uh. Sure, I guess. [ leans in to see what's in the bag! ]

Checking in about what, though?

We've had a lot of revelations lately, yeah?

Isn't it good to check in and see how we're dealing with them?

[ Even the potentially good ones, he believes, on top of their current situation. Axel looks amused as Danny peeks into the bag...

...And he can see it's sea-salt ice cream! Which might not be too surprising. ]

...You mean our little chat with the dead yesterday? [ snorts a lil when he sees it's that sea salt ice cream, but takes one out to try anyway ]

It's not really a revelation. We already knew they were still around in the news building.

Yeah, but I figured it was a bit different communicating a little more directly with them than it being a little more...slow.

[ Though in the end there is not much of a difference. Danny does have a point that it is less than a revelation than simply a change in how they were able to talk. ]

...I guess so. But I wasn't very close with most of them anyway, so it wasn't really as important to me as to some others.
