[it's a text that she's showing him! it's from tama, if he looks closely.]
I don't know if they're prinnies, but - they're somewhere as like... spirits, maybe, ghosts? Something. And if we can find them when the red moon comes, we can bring them back.
Well, we definitely know they're still around in some form or another.
Nico showed me another note about how the prinnies like, completely control the newspaper building and only other prinnies are allowed to be there. And with the way the newspaper's been the past few weeks...
[ yeah danny is now fully on his "all the dead are prinnies" agenda ]
...can you send it to me too? Just so I have it.
I knew the full moon would be the big final showdown, but knowing that that's when we can get the dead back...that's new. That's big.
They're the ones answering the newspaper questions, yeah, they've gotta be.
[she'll send it to him! forwards the text.]
Anyway, yeah, so now nothing else matters. [i will get them back i will do whatever it takes] I talked to Tiger and made a deal with them. They'll bring me info if they find it, but so far I know more than they do, so.
Yeah, really. [she says, and it's probably clear she's unimpressed.] There's reasons I don't talk to them, and there's no reason they couldn't have heard from other people.
... I don't really trust them. But Nico said we probably shouldn't keep any of the leads in the dark.
... I'm sorry, I should've told you about that. [that's genuine.] I didn't know until last Tuesday, and... and a lot happened.
[she adjusts her hat.]
I can give you all the stuff I know - it's probably not far off from what you do, honestly. Tiger just doesn't know anything. [...] You don't have to bother talking to them if you don't want.
It's fine. I understand--especially with the Thursday you had. [ the honest truth is nimona could do just about fucking anything and danny would let it slide ]
[ blinks in surprise at that thought though. Why would they...? ] I don't mind talking to them. We have an understanding.
I said something about how none of them have to deal with solving trials and turning on each other because they're just impartial witnesses and Tiger got real mad and was like I've been a punching bag for 18 years I don't have to take this from you and I got mad back. That's how all of our conversations go. It's stupid.
And I know more than them half the time anyway - actually, don't tell them about the moon thing yet [rip if you already have but it's okay] because I hinted at it, and like.
They said our team powers are a lot stronger during the full moon. And you know how we have that Consume one, and we have the thing where we have to turn the moon into a rock and eat it? I don't want them to get any ideas about getting power.
...huh. I didn't make that connection at all, actually. But the power I've got is Consume, so good for me to keep in mind if it comes down to it, I guess.
I haven't had a talk with Tiger like that myself but...I can see it. Sounds like maybe it's why you got put on their team--neither of you are willing to back down in an argument.

Tama got it from her dorm yesterday.

How much do you know, anyway? I thought I knew a lot, but... [ clearly not about each team needing to do a kill. ]

... Maybe it's just me. [she says, after a minute, rubbing at her face.] I can't talk to them without them making me feel like garbage.

Everything's a contest. [she adjusts her hat, playing with the strings.] Somehow they've always got it worse.

I'm older than them, so they should listen to me. [that's not how that works]
