He spent a lot of time having people look at him like he was just, you know, a stupid raccoon. Like he wasn't worth anything just because he wasn't human.
People thought he was - a natural disaster. Like a ghost. But he wasn't. The first thing he said to me when... [a pause.] He said if I wanted a place to go, his crew was a bunch of weirdos and I'd fit right in.
... I guess I don't really know where I'm going with this. [just, maybe she doesn't want people to forget that. maybe danny will appreciate that, because he doesn't hurt ghosts, he takes them home. she doesn't know.]
...that was really nice of him. To offer that to you, I mean.
[ he's honestly not quite sure what to say about that. it's certainly not a side of rocket he ever encountered, but offering something like that...they must've been even closer than danny thought. ]
Yeah. I didn't expect it like, at all. But he just offered like it was nothing.

Anyway. It sucks that he's gone, and it sucks that she's going to be, and I'm not gonna just let it go.
