I suppose I know very little about ghosts... even though I lived in a haunted house for a while.

Most people don't. I only do because my parents are experts and my hometown is, like, crawling with them.

How does a place come to have so many ghosts?

Mostly by ripping a hole through reality into the Ghost Zone.

I don't think my parents thought that far ahead when they built the portal. But now it's here, so... [ shrugs ]
