That's what I thought too. And then someone told me that they usually investigate during trial, so there wouldn't be anything to find today anyway.

During trial? How does that even work? Where does it all go?

Maybe we just can't see it now. There could be a barrier in place, or a spell... Or they cleaned it all up so they could recreate it later.

Regardless, it seems like unnecessary effort. And it just makes more work for us tomorrow.

I'm sure the Auditors are counting on that. Maybe they think we were all terrible at solving murders even with the added time, so now we even have less of it.
