there is a chair toppled over in the corner, next to a potted plant and a small pile of random items from the store. Your roommate, sitting on the naked mattress, is newly outfitted and wearing a variety of spiked bracelets (and yes, also wearing shoes on the mattress), as he smokes a cigarette.
